The DZH hand-fired chain grate boiler is a horizontal three-pass water-fire tube hybrid boiler with a single drum vertical structure. Its core design combines the flexibility of hand-fired grates with the continuous combustion characteristics of chain grates. The fuel is added to the grate manually or mechanically, and progressive combustion is achieved through chain transmission. The flue gas is fully heat-exchanged through the three-pass process (furnace → combustion chamber → front smoke box → convection tube bundle → economizer) and then discharged into the atmosphere
Core design features
1. Furnace and arch structure
Light tube water-cooled walls are configured on both sides of the furnace to enhance heat absorption efficiency and protect the furnace wall;
Energy-saving front and rear arches are adopted: the rear arch is low and long, reflecting high-temperature flames to the new fuel area to improve ignition conditions; the front arch strengthens gas mixing and reduces incomplete combustion losses;
The arch coverage rate is nearly 85%, which is adapted to the high volatile characteristics of biomass fuel.
2. Combustion system
Active chain grate: supports manual or mechanical feeding, and the grate is divided into zones for air distribution (small air volume in the front/rear zone and large air volume in the middle zone) to match the requirements of the fuel combustion stage;
Secondary air system: Introduce high-speed airflow to disturb the furnace flue gas, extend the fuel residence time, and improve the burnout rate;
Applicable fuels include biomass pellets, briquettes, agricultural and forestry waste (such as straw, rice husks), and can also be mixed with coal.
3. Efficient heat transfer and waste heat recovery
Threaded smoke pipe design: The drum is equipped with a threaded smoke pipe to enhance the flue gas turbulence and self-cleaning capability, reducing ash accumulation;
Economizer integration: Economizer is installed in the tail flue to recover waste heat to increase the water inlet temperature and reduce the exhaust temperature to 130-160ºC, with a thermal efficiency of 80-85%.
4. Control and safety system
Automation control: supports automatic pressure adjustment, water level interlock, and timed operation;
Multiple protections: water shortage alarm, overpressure shutdown, motor overload protection, automatic fuel cut-off during power outage.
DZH package boilers are horizontal three-pass water-tube boilers with a chain grate furnace. The drum contains threaded pyrotechnic tubes that form a convection heating surface, and the drum and water walls on both sides of it form a radiation heating surface in the furnace.
